As the holiday season is around the corner (hello November!) I have compiled a list of tried and true gifts every mom will love. While we should show moms all the love every day, this is the time to put that love in a form of a thoughtful gift, gesture, or both. I have compiled here some of the best gift ideas to show her how much you care this holiday season.

If your mother is always taking care of everyone else and never takes time to indulge in a bit of self care, these are great gifts for her this season. From little daily rituals to a full blown day day of “me time”, here are some ideas for self care gifts that mom will love:
- This winning set of Peter Thomas Roth face masks for every mood and skin need.
- Available in multiple colors, this Parachute robe is elegant, cozy and perfect for wearing on a Sunday morning.
- If mom loves a good bubble bath, she needs this to rest her book, iPad or glass of wine. Bubble bath elevated!
- The Augustinus Bader cream is a splurge, but if anyone deserves this it’s mom. Available in two sizes, her skin will thank you.
- Busy moms value their sleep more than anything, it’s the ultimate luxury for the matriarch of a house full of little ones. This Slip set is 100% silk and not only feels great to sleep in but also helps prevent wrinkles.
- For the at-home spa experience, this pro facial steamer is a must. It’s micro steamer hydrates and purifies skin without fuss or too much time.
Gift ideas for the mom who rediscovered her love of cooking
If your mom has loves to make scrumptious meals and tasty treats here are some gifts she will really enjoy:
- A cute apron like this one meals for the brood. I love this one that is elegant and practical.
- If your mom is the kind that loves to experiment in the kitchen and devours (pun intended) every food blog out there, she will love Food between Friends where BFFs Tyler Ferguson (of modern family fame), and Julie Tanous (a recipe developer) pay homage to California cooking while adding a with Southern twist.
- The KitchenAid mixer is the item to gift mom if she loves to bake and has become a serious chef. Match the color to her personality and prepare for delicious treats coming your way.
- Another amazing option for a mom that enjoys flipping through cookbooks is this newly updated New York Times Recipe cookbook. This recipe collection is extensive and the serious cook will never run out of ideas. The photography and art are pristine as well, so they can be enjoyed even without spending time in the kitchen.
- I don’t know about you, but my mom loves her iPad and chances are yours does too. If she loves trying new recipes from her favorite food blog, this iPad stand is functional and perfect for reading recipes on your iPad or even watching a show while doing dishes. This one from target also looks great in the kitchen counter.
Thoughtful gifts for new moms
- By Chari, is hands down one of my favorite jewelry brands I have bought from in recent years. Their pieces are elegant and super high quality at attainable prices. I especially love that they do custom necklaces and their pieces are handmade. Customize their new baby’s name or initials or get the Mama necklace to celebrate this new mom.
- Birdies makes super comfy shoes that look so good in and out of the house. Pamper the new mama with these satin slides.
- Whether this is the first baby or third, gift mom a custom portrait of her growing family she can treasure forever.
- This is an exciting (and exhausting) time for the new mom. No doubt she is filling up her phone with thousands of pictures of her new little human. Gift her this wireless Instax printer so she can print on the go all the best shots of this precious time.
Here’s what to buy for style icon mom
I believe our moms are our first style inspiration. So if you are in a pinch without ideas of what to get her, celebrate her stylish side with a fresh and trendy accessory. Of all the items on the list, these are the best gift ideas for every kind of mom this holiday, because all moms deserve style and luxury.
- This Lele Sadoughi headband comes in so many fabrics and they instantly make you look more dressed up. I love that they sell matching masks, so mom can be cute (and safe) outdoors.
- Maison Miru is another recently discovered jewelry brand I absolutely love because they are versatile and make it easy to coordinate lots of different pieces. My favorite is this solid 14k gold lightning bolt pair. It’s cute, elegant with an edge.
- It’s no secret I love these Natalie Flats by Sarah Flint! I have featured them in my blog shop for a while and they are a favorite of Meghan Markle and countless other stylish women. For the busy mom, these are comfy, stylish, and the perfect choice for moms on the go.
- For the fashion lover, nothing completes an outfit better than the perfect bag. Mom deserves a stylish and high-end bag that is sleek and stylish but practical so she will actually use it. I love this YSL leather tote because it’s roomy, comes in many colors, and goes with everything. Mom will love it too!
- This duo by Charlotte Tilbury is a modern classic that suits every skin shade and enhances your natural color in the prettiest way. This coveted set will soon be a staple in Mom’s beauty bag.
Best gift ideas for the fitspo mom
- A basic in any home workout kit should be a yoga mat. So chances are if your mom loves working out she already has one. Most mats degrade over time and lose their bounce. I love the newly redesigned Reversible Mat by Lululemon mat that is extra grippy and cushioned. Upgrade mom’s mat with this one.
- The Ultraboost running shoes by Adidas are the ultimate shoe if you should gift your mom if she loves to run or recently started running. There are like a cloud on your feet and come in multiple colors to suit your mom’s taste.
- Another workout must these days is to have a fitness tracker that allows you overall health insights. Fitbit has a range of devices that track your steps, sleep, and workouts to your heart’s content. I like this special edition one with gorjana because it’s pretty enough to pass as a high-end watch, so you never have to take it off.
- Another previous blog shop feature. I can not rave enough about these Bala weights. They are easy to slip on and off during a workout, are comfortable to wear, and look great with their sleek design and color range. Moms short on time can even wear these on the go.
Best gift ideas for the mom with the green thumb
- For moms that are city dwellers but want some green space, this little indoor garden is perfect for her to grow flowers, vegetables, or herbs. The best part is that it doesn’t need ambient light as the smart garden comes with its own lighting and watering capabilities.
- I own this book and can personally attest that The complete guide to house plants is a must for anyone looking to have happy thriving plants indoors. You will go from plant enthusiast to expert after diving into this one.
- Herbs are a great place to start for growing plants at home. I love this starter kit. They are generally fast growers, and easy to care for and it could be a fun activity to enlist the help of your kids with. Bonus, they smell amazing and you will never use store-bought herbs again.
- Whether mom has an indoor or outdoor plant family she needs the proper tools to tend to them. This gardening kit provides the basics and is super elegant too. Mom with love it.
