It’s that time of the year again to (virtually) get in line and dig through the Nordstrom anniversary sale goods. There is always a good mix of staples and trendy items to shop for, but you need to jump on it fast because the items usually fly off the shelves. I curated my shopping for home, beauty, and style picks of what I want and what I would recommend getting.
What I Want from the Nordstrom Sale
My Shopping Style Picks
While shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale I focused on looking for style picks for late Summer/early Fall and some staples for year-round use. For jewelry, I love a good ear party so I had to add this bauble bar one on the list and as a monogram fan, I love this chic mini Kate spade pendant.
After a year in sweats and yoga pants, I am looking forward to wearing dresses again, and even throwing on a pair of jeans. My favorites from the sale are this one from Halogen and this Riesa Rib Knit Body-Con Dress. I am looking forward to using this sweater dress in the fall.
I know the youngsters think skinny jeans are out, but as an elder millennial I still love them and will be getting this one. Seriously, it’s about style and what works for you, not hopping on every trend that comes along.
I have been more conscious about protecting myself from the sun, with more than just sunscreen. this means more hats and sunnies. I love this foldable Panama hat and these cat-eye sunglasses from Quay.
Slides are some of my favorite shoe styles because it’s always an easy choice that looks good with practically any outfit and is super comfy. This one from Jenni Kayne is a winner.
Shopping for beauty and wellness
Ahhh beauty… My favorite category to shop for! Last year I started investing a lot more in my health, which includes taking better care of my hair and skin instead of wearing a lot of makeup. For this reason, I gravitated towards just picking up staples in the makeup department like which are these Laura Mercier caviar sticks and a neutral lip duo from Bobbi Brown. Both are staples in my makeup bag and once you try them you will see why. They work on everyone and are the prettiest shades. To remove makeup you have to try this luxurious Elemis balm.
For hair, it’s all about minimizing frizz and stopping breakage. You know I love my Dyson hair dryer which has helped tremendously with the health of my hair. Still, using these slip silk ties has been a game-changer when it comes to stopping hair loss and breakage. For soaking up excess water from my hair I use a towel wrap that has seen better days so I will be upgrading to this one.
To prevent wrinkles on my face and frizz in my hair the Slip pillowcase is a must. I love the Nuface line of products and this set gives you everything you need to keep your skin tight and youthful.
I have also been dying to try using the Theragun to help with soreness after my workouts and this set is great to help me on my fitness recovery journey.
Shopping for the Home
I was pleasantly surprised with how many things I actually want in this category! Love this Chenille Rose Comforter set and will be getting it asap. Also couldn’t resist getting these monogram marble coasters. Since they are on sale you can get a few with letters representing each family member. Drinks never need to get mixed up again!
Love this indoor garden kit for fresh herbs direct from your kitchen counter. I recently decided to revamp my wall art and this is pineapple print is the cutest. I have to find it spot somewhere.
Gold is a trend that I am actually here for! This cheese knife set and wine rack will elevate your next dinner party decor, guaranteed. Apotheke’s candle and diffuser set is the perfect mix of whimsy and timelessness. Lastly, you can never go wrong with Diptyque candles, I am getting these minis.
All my picks are curated in the shop. If you enjoyed this and like shopping for home, beauty, and style. Stay tuned for updates, and more goodies being added to the shop.
