Interior design
This is ideal for clients who are who need help with the interiors of their homes. Whether you are moving into a new home or refreshing an existing space, we can help with the finishing touches to make your home perfect for you.
Studio TPE works collaboratively with you to meet your design needs. We are here to help bring your dream space to life through a streamlined and fun design experience.
We offer virtual design as well as in-person. Both services give you personal attention and a uniquely designed space. Virtual Services offers to give you guidance wherever you are located but relies on you to provide key information to develop the design.
For in-person services, Tania is on hand to oversee the details and work with artisans and trade professionals to ensure the end result exceeds your expectations.
Interior design’s process
Accept Proposal
The project officially begins with acceptance of the proposal and signed contract. The proposal is based on our discovery call where we establish the scope and design goals.
Design Homework
For Virtual clients, it begins with a detailed questionnaire where your desires and goals are put to paper. We also create a Pinterest board where you can send inspirational images to convey what you hope to achieve in your space.
Schematic Design
We carefully review all the materials you provided and begin designing your spaces. If you are an in-person client, Tania will also walk through your space with you and answer any questions you may have.
Design Review
We meet at pre-determined intervals to review the designs. This is a collaborative process, so feel free to let Tania know your thoughts. She works on as many iterations as needed until approval of the design.
Final Deliverables
Upon approval of the design, Tania will send you the design packet with all materials and information needed for ordering. She will work with your contractor to make sure all is built to plan.
Faqs
How long will my project take?
It depends on the size of your project. Typically we take 4-6 weeks to create design concepts. Depending on how many revisions are needed we are usually on track to deliver the final design in 8-10 weeks.
What is the difference between Virtual and In-Person design?
Virtual design is more affordable than in-person design and is ideal for smaller spaces or for someone who needs extra help pulling a space together.
In-person is a full-service design option where Tania is on hand both throughout the design and during construction. Additional benefits such as handling orders and installation are included in the in-person services.
Can this be added to another services, such as renovations or new builds?
Yes, absolutely! We love to continue working with our existing clients on new ventures. We do suggest, letting us know as soon as possible if you would like to combine services as this ensures that your project runs smoothly.
I don’t use pinterest, can I share images a different way?
Yes, this process is meant to work for you! We can tailor the experience so that it works best for you. Reach out to us and let us know what you have in mind.
How does ordering work?
Virtual Design Clients will receive a detailed PDF with links to all the items that were suggested and approved for ordering. We suggest the quantities where applicable.
Studio TPE handles full ordering for clients as well as the deliveries unless you prefer ordering at your convenience. We also are there to receive and stage the items for you.
What happens if I change my mind about a design item?
We do our best to accommodate changes, as we want you to love your space! If the project is already approved or in construction, additional fees may apply. If the change happens before construction, only the standard hourly fee applies.
